Our Optical Department at each of our locations has a wide selection from the most reliable and best-selling frame manufacturers:
- We feature Sillouhette, Liz Claiborne, Marchant and others -- the latest designer and fashion styles for every age, from conservative to trendy.
- The latest styles and makes for kids, including Elle for girls, Mickey and Company, and Disney
- Flexon (TM) flexible, bendable frames from titanium memory metal
- Frames at competitive prices to fit almost any budget
- Maui Jim and RayBan Sunglasses
Just like you have more than one pair of shoes, you need more than one pair of glasses. Sunglasses protect your eyes from UV radiation and reduce your risk of cataracts and macular degeneration. Safety glasses protect your eyes from sports and occupational injuries. Many patients benefit from having separate glasses for computer activities as well as different styles for everyday wear and evening wear.
Of course, if you want help in making the best choice, our experienced and licensed Opticians Tony Tarlton, Karen Robinson and Sue Metzelaar will take plenty of time to talk with you and show you a variety of styles. We'll also talk with you about which styles are best for your lifestyle - whether you play active sports, work in an environment where glasses might get broken, or sit in front of a computer all day.
Having your glasses fitted by a licensed optician is extremely important. An accurate prescription poorly fitted will cause annoying problems like eyestrain, headaches and poor quality vision. Many discount houses employ only a "stylist"--we do not. Our licensed opticians will use their experience and training to make sure your doctor's prescription works well for you.
You'll get your glasses quickly, too. We cut and edge your lenses to fit your frames, using the most modern equipment, right here in our office. We keep single-vision lenses on hand, ready to put in your frames immediately. If you need a more specialized prescription, we'll get your lenses custom ground within days, then fit them to your frames in our office.
If you get a new lens prescription but you want to keep your current frames, you won't have to do without your glasses. We'll edge the new lenses and put them in your frames while you wait.
