CHARLOTTE OFFICE OPTICIANS

Tony Tarlton is our lead optician and has been licensed in the state of North Carolina since 1987. He completed his fellowship training at the National Academy of Opticianry and then went on to pursue additional certification with Eschenbac Low Vision in 1991.  Tony is a second generation Optician as his father was the head instructor at the U.S. Military Optical School.  He has extensive clinical optical background as he was the Director of Optical Services at Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat and the head Optician at Nalle Clinic

Susan Metzelaar, A.B.O.C.-Susan worked as a licensed Optician in Utica, New York and moved to North Carolina in 1997.  She is now an American Board Certified Optician and is preparing to take the North Carolina state board of Opticianry Exam.  Susan has over 30 years of experience in the optical business and is looking forward to serving you!

HUNTERSVILLE OFFICE OPTICIANS

Karen Robinson ABOC, NCLEC- has been a Licensed Optician for the past 28 years, practicing in New York and North Carolina.  She is required by the state to stay abreast of new technology and advancements in the optical field by attending continuing education classes on a yearly basis.  Karen is certified by the American Board of Opticianry National Contact Lens Examiners.  Why wouldn’t you want to trust your eyes with her?
